We are nearing the end of January, and that means our target date for completing the month-long one-a-day Bow Tie challenge is looming. I was anxious to transform my blocks into a mini quilt, so I sewed the final blocks on Tuesday, bringing the total to thirty. (As you can see from the photo, I stitched a few more to achieve color balance.)
I placed the Bow Ties on a piece of batting, making transport from the design area to the sewing area easier. The question of the hour — Do you prefer a random color arrangement?
Or do you prefer the Bow Ties arranged by color in diagonal rows?
Let me know which arrangement best pleases your eyes in a comment below.
